die schmerzliche Lücke, die Du hinterlässt, kann man nicht füllen. Wir werden Dich vermissen und behalten Dich in unserer Erinnerung. Ruhe in Frieden.

I will miss our exchanges on grilling techniques and the dos and don’ts. It saddens me we never did have a chance to grill that steak together. Your smile and positive can do attitude is missed and your contribution is forever lasting. Will miss you my friend.

Rest in Peace

Daniel became a close friend during our time working together at Cree, professionally I knew of no-one that had a stronger ethic towards his work.  He would prove be an example of diligence and organisation that I still find amazing.  Then on a personal level he was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering good advice when needed and just being someone who could listen if there was something I would need to share....

In March 2021 our business relationship ended due to a separation of business units within the company we both worked for, we ended up in separate entities and as a result contact was limited and became gradually less.  I missed him and always hoped that we would - at some point in the future - reunite.  That was not to be.

Funny memories - I remember him telling me to hold my stomach in while we were on a sales meeting trip in Ibiza, he said I would prefer to look thinner considering the beautiful people that we were surrounded by....   drinking beers together at The Octoberfest in Munich, drunk and dancing on the table....  trying to hold a meaningful conversation with a Spanish person from the next table that spoke no English at all....   there are many others but, I will hold those ones to myself.

Goodbye Daniel, rest well.  

Unfassbar traurig diese wunderbaren Menschen gehen zu sehen. Er wird mir gerne in Erinnerung bleiben. Viel Kraft für diese schwierige Zeit.
